By default your Blackboard course is made unavailable until you are ready to turn it on. Most instructors make their courses available a day or two before the first day of classes or most definitely on the first day of classes.
Here’s how to make your Blackboard course available.

1. Go to “Control Panel” and click “Properties”
2. Scroll down to Set Availability and select “Yes” to Make Course Available.
3. Click “Submit.”
