Fiber Arts Afternoons
The hard work of learning a new craft, the slow progression of building mastery, and the joy of being able to pass that knowledge along to someone new…
Teaching and learning happens with both our brains and our hands, and the world of fiber arts has a rich tradition of learning through hands-on mentorship.
Come talk about how you learn and teach through craft, and join us in making!
Every Thursday in the MILL from 2-4 PM (March 21st – April 25th, 2024)
Faculty, staff and students are invited and we welcome any type of fiber craft. Knitting, crocheting, weaving, sewing, embroidery, needle felting, macramé, spinning, or anything else that creatively fits the category. People are encouraged to bring their own existing projects to work on, or come by to try out something new. There will be starting materials and instruction available for knitting, crochet, and weaving.
These are drop-in events with no maximum capacity. Register below to receive email reminders and the calendar event.
